I love a good theme, and Arlequin Casino have fully embraced the colorful and alluring world of the Renaissance with a homage to the Commedia dell’Arte.
And with 40 software providers, they boast an impressive gaming library complete with a decent selection of jackpot options to boot!
This, coupled with their fast withdrawals, seasonal promotions, tournaments and choice of welcome packages makes for a dynamic and engaging gaming experience.
In this review, I’ll be looking at the good, the bad and the ugly of what this casino has to offer. In doing so, you can see for yourself if they’re worth a spin… literally!
So, without further ado, let’s dive in!
Is it Legit?
Arlequin are a fully-fledged online casino operated by Mountberg B.V and licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board.
As it should be, the above information was easy to find. Essential details like this should always be readily available.
In regard to their license, Curaçao is a very common choice among iGaming operators.
It is not considered to be the most reputable one in the industry, but rest assured, Arlequin still had to meet high standards in several key areas:
- Secure Transactions: Software that protects players’ personal and financial data from being abused
- Responsible Gaming: Tools in place to protect players’ wellbeing and ensure responsible gambling
- Data Protection: A clear policy outlining how your personal information is used in compliance with data protection laws
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML): Concrete procedures in place to prevent money laundering
Alongside these protocols, Arlequin uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to help prevent hackers from stealing sensitive data.
The technology is the gold standard not just for online casinos, but also e-commerce sites and banks worldwide. This further reassures me that these guys are the real deal.
Once I’ve gone through all those parameters, I like to take a look at reviews by other players, like me. And from what I’ve seen, Arlequin has received mostly positive feedback, with many sharing experiences not too dissimilar to mine.
This combination of regulatory measures, SSL encryption, overall transparency and positive reviews earns Arlequin my stamp of approval!
Pro Tip: Look out for top game developers such as Evolution and Pragmatic Play. This is because such industry leaders do not work with unlicensed operators.
Bonuses & Promotions
I was impressed by the plethora of bonuses and promotions available here.
Aside from a solid welcome offer, their selection of reload bonuses, weekly cashbacks and spin packages kept me engaged and entertained throughout the week.
And the cherry on the cake, there are no wagering requirements attached to these deals.
Let’s take a closer look!
Welcome Bonus
A solid start for Arlequin with two options available to suit different preferences:
- Main Offer: 100% up to €300 + 10 free spins on Harlequin Carnival by Nolimit City
OR
- Spins Only Package: 150 spins on €10 deposit for Harlequin Carnival by Nolimit City
The main deposit bonus is an excellent way for players to increase their bankroll while exploring the casino’s offerings, bet big and play for longer!
However, high-rollers might prefer more generous packages out there, like the one offered by Evobet Casino (i.e. 130% up to €1,000).
Alternatively, the spins-only package is perfect for slot enthusiasts.
Plus, both offers carry a very low entry requirement, so I can see it appealing to beginners and casuals alike.
Whichever one you choose, here’s the lowdown for both:
- Minimum Deposit: €10
- Maximum Bet: €5
- Activation: Within 30 days of registering account
- Duration: Bonus funds valid for 20 days following activation
- Spins: Valid for 48 hours at €0.20 per spin following activation
- No wagering requirements
Mardi Gras
The French term for Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras is synonymous with the indulgence and celebration that takes place on the last day of Carnival:
- 30% on your next two deposits
Although, unlike the Carnival festivities popularized during the Renaissance, this offer takes place every Tuesday throughout the year.
It also happens to be the first cash bonus of the week and, in my opinion, acts as a great launchpad for the days ahead.
Sure, it’s limited to your first two deposits, but with such a generous 30% return on both, I’m definitely not complaining.
Here’s what you need to keep in mind:
- Schedule: Every Tuesday from 18:00 to 23:59 CET/CEST
- Minimum Deposit: €10
- Maximum Bet: €5
- Duration: Bonus valid for 20 days following activation
- No wagering requirements
Spins Carnival
It is Wednesday my dudes! Well, at least it will be when this offer kicks in every week. Check it out:
- Up to 50 free spins on all bets
In order to earn these free spins, you need to complete a set number of tasks or missions. I personally enjoyed this setup as it made the gameplay feel more fun and interactive.
The free spins can only be used on specific slot machines. However, what’s cool is that the slot machines are regularly changed and updated, which helps to keep things fresh and interesting.
My biggest gripe is that some missions require a lot of effort (and spending). I can see this getting far too complicated and overwhelming for beginners and casuals.
Regardless, here’s a quick breakdown of what the missions entail followed by a quick breakdown of the terms:
Mission | Spins |
Play 100 rounds; Win 3 consecutive spins | 10 free spins |
Bet €100; Win x10 your bet | 20 free spins |
Win 60 times; Win 3 consecutive spins; Win x10 your bet | 30 free spins |
Bet €400; Win x10 your bet twice; Play 150 rounds | 40 free spins |
Bet €750; Win 3 consecutive spins; Win x15 your bet thrice | 50 free spins |
- Schedule: Wednesdays from 0:00 – 23:59 CET/CEST
- Missions: Can be performed on any slot machine
- Duration: Spins valid for 48 hours after completing mission
- No wagering requirements
Happy Hour
Fridays are for happy hour and this offer is bound to put a smile on your face:
- 25% on all deposits
At first glance, it may not seem groundbreaking, but a 25% bonus on every single deposit you make is nothing to be scoffed at.
Plus, if you are lucky enough to achieve VIP status, this offer is enhanced to 40% on all deposits which is insanely good!
What’s crazy is that there’s technically no cap on the bonus funds you can receive. This means you can deposit as much as you like (within reason) and still enjoy the same bonus percentage!
Of course, most players aren’t going to be depositing exuberant amounts of cash, but nevertheless, it’s still a cool perk to have.
This offer is available for a few hours after the typical workday, making it ideal for unwinding on a Friday evening.
All in all, it’s a reliable way to stretch your budget, while adding significant value to your playing time.
Here’s the rundown on when and how it works:
- Schedule: Fridays from 17:00 to 23:59 CET/CEST
- Minimum Deposit: €10
- Maximum Bet: €5
- No Deposit Limit: There is no cap on the 25% bonus
- Duration: Bonus valid for 20 days following activation
- No wagering requirements
Gondola Sundays
After the chores are done, everyone knows Sundays are for taking it easy – and this fits that vibe perfectly:
- 15% on all deposits
Initially, this deal doesn’t appear as generous as Friday’s 25% offer. However, it comes with an extended playing time of 9 hours instead of 7 and applies to all deposits made within that timeframe.
The deal is even sweeter for VIPs with a 20% bonus on all deposits.
That may not seem like much but those extra hours on a Sunday – when most people are off work – make a big difference. I got to really enjoy my session without feeling rushed.
Also, it starts at midday, so you don’t have to be up at the crack of dawn, giving you enough time to get your laundry out of the way. Happy days!
Here’s what you need to know:
- Schedule: Sundays 13:00 – 22:00 CET/CEST
- Activation: Click on coupon upon making deposit
- Minimum Deposit: €10
- Maximum Bet: €5
- Duration: Bonus valid for 20 days following activation
- No wagering requirements
VIP Cashback
Taking place every Monday morning, this cashback offer provides a rewarding start to your week:
- 10% cashback up to €500
It’s based on the amount deposited in the previous week, minus withdrawals made and bonuses taken.
So, if you deposited €1,000, withdrew €300 and used €100 in bonuses, you’d receive €60 cashback.
While it’s a nice perk, it’s a shame that this offer is only available to VIP players.
In my opinion, it would have been great to see something similar for non-VIP players with an enhanced version for VIPs only.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Schedule: Monday mornings
- Calculation: (deposit – (withdraws + bonus)) x 10%
- Calculation Period: Mondays 0:00 until Sunday 23:59
- Cap: Maximum cashback of €500
- Eligibility: Only cash bets and winnings are counted (Bets and winnings from bonus funds are excluded)
Loyalty Program
Blending casino gameplay with the charm of masquerade, the guys at Arlequin have offered a creative twist to their loyalty scheme.
In this tier-based system, every penny wagered earns you points that help you unlock new levels and claim rewards:
Level | Points | Bonus | Free Spins |
Pierrot | 0 – 49 | – | – |
Scaramouche | 50 – 999 | – | 50 FS on Royal Masquerade (€0.10) |
Scapin | 1,000 – 4,999 | – | 50 FS on Royal Masquerade (€0.50) |
Colombine | 5,000 – 19,999 | €100 | 25 FS on Royal Masquerade (€1) |
Pantalone | 20,000 – 49,999 | €200 | 30 FS on Harlequin Carnival (€1.60) |
Docteur | 50,000 – 99,999 | €500 | 40 FS on Harlequin Carnival (€1.60) |
Arlequin | 10,0000 – 10,000,000 | €1,000 | 50 FS on Harlequin Carnival (€1.60) |
I also like that you can earn points on any casino game with no exceptions. That said, the wagering requirements for non-slot games are high, and the rewards only really start to kick in later on.
Each level is represented by an iconic character from Commedia del ’Arte, starting with the innocent yet lovable Pierrot to the cheeky yet charismatic Arlequin.
Conditions:
- Eligibility: Open to all registered players who deposited funds
- Calculation: €30 per point on slots/€300 per point on other games
- Rewards: Credited automatically with each new level
- Free Spins: Must be used within 7 days of being rewarded
VIP Program
Information on their website was scant. This could be intentional, adding to the mystery of it all, but I personally found this irritating.
The only thing I could find is that some of their weekly offers carry enhanced perks when you obtain VIP status.
Aside from that, I had to confer with their live chat to gain more insight.
Here’s a breakdown of what it entails:
- Faster Withdrawals: 24hrs instead of 48hrs
- Birthday Bonus: No deposit funds
- VIP Advisor: Personalized support and exclusive services
- Friday’s Happy Hour: 40% on all deposits instead of 25%
- Sunday Gondola: 20% on all deposits instead of 15%
- Weekly Cashbacks: 10%
Overall, I’d say there are some decent benefits, but ultimately it feels underwhelming.
And how does one enter, I hear you ask? Well, it’s invitation only and based on their discretion.
Although, here’s what they consider:
- General Activity
- Positive interactions with customer support
- Seniority and loyalty
Tournaments
Arlequin’s selection of tournaments adds a layer of dynamic and immersive gameplay that’s hard to beat.
What really stood out to me was how inclusive they are, giving literally thousands of players the chance to win cash prizes and rewards every week!
This means there’s plenty on offer for players of all levels. The rewards range from cash prizes to other perks like bonus rounds and spins.
So, whether you’re aiming for those coveted top spots or just in it for the ride, there’s enough incentive to keep things fresh and engaging for everyone.
Venice Jousting
Due to the ever-changing nature of tournaments, I wouldn’t normally mention them by name.
That said, Venice Jousting is a custom-made tournament courtesy of Arlequin themselves.
The premise is simple: play your favorite slot game (any) and complete actions to earn points. The more points you rack up, the higher up the leaderboard you’ll be.
The top 20 players walk away with cash prizes, while those who finish outside those parameters can still win up to 50 free spins.
I also really liked how easy to understand it all was. Plus, the entry requirements are very low, making it ideal for beginners.
With that being said, here’s what else you should know;
- Schedule: Friday 0:00 to Monday 23:59 CET/CEST
- No minimum deposit requirements
- Minimum Bet: €0.10c to participate
Note: Unlike most tournaments, Venice Jousting has no pre-determined end date. However, as with any promotion, Arlequin reserves the right to remove this tournament at any time without prior warning.
Games and Offerings
Arlequin are constantly updating their extensive gaming library with the latest releases from top providers.
They also have this neat feature where you can bookmark your favorite games for ease of access. I especially liked the RTP dashboard, allowing me to sift through the RTP rates of any casino game over a 24-hour period.
Let’s explore their offerings in more detail!
Slot Machines
There’s no shortage of slot games at Arlequin. Top providers like Pragmatic Play, Yggdrasil, Red Tiger, Evolution and many more ensure plenty of quality and variety.
I loved how their filtering system lets you browse slots via new releases, jackpots and even ongoing tournaments!
Of course, you can also type the name of the slot you want to play into the search bar or filter by providers.
In addition to their RTP dashboard, they also showcase the top five spins over a 24-hour period. It makes everything feel more real and gives you that extra incentive to play those games.
They show you the player’s name, how much they won and what slot they won it on.
My top picks:
No. | Slot | Provider | Megaways | RTP | Volatility |
1 | Donny Dough | Hacksaw Gaming | ❌ | 94.4% | High |
2 | Harlequin Carnival | Nolimit City | ❌ | 94.3% | Medium |
3 | Great Rhino Megaways | Pragmatic Play | ✅ | 96.6% | High |
4 | Dwarven Gems Megaways | Iron Dog | ✅ | 96.7% | High |
5 | Taco Brothers | Elk Studios | ❌ | 96.3% | Medium |
6 | Revenge of Loki | Pragmatic Play | ✅ | 96.5% | High |
7 | Napoleon Megaways | Blueprint | ✅ | 95.5% | High |
Progressive Jackpots
I loved that they have a whole tab dedicated to jackpots!
The number of jackpot games is also decent but with just three providers, it lacks variety.
But don’t get me wrong, each of them have their own strengths. Betsoft, renowned for great visuals and immersive storytelling, comprises 80% of the games in this category.
The remaining two, Fazi and Amusnet Interactive, are no pushovers themselves.
However, they’re not as renowned for jackpots as industry giants like Microgaming and Blueprint Gaming, both missing from Arlequin’s list.
That aside, what really caught my attention was the board on the sidebar. It’s a handy visual showing the jackpot’s current prize pool as well as the most popular games linked to it.
I’ve compiled a table below with some of my favorites along with some additional information like paylines and RTP:
No. | Slot | Provider | Paylines | RTP | Volatility |
1 | Treasure Room | Betsoft | 20 | 94% | Medium |
2 | 20 Fire Cash | Fazi | 20 | 96.5% | Medium |
3 | Mega Gems | Betsoft | 10 | 95.2% | High |
4 | 40 Power Hot | Amusnet Interactive | 40 | 96.3% | Low |
5 | Good Girl Bad Girl | Betsoft | 15 | 97.8% | Medium |
6 | African Treasure | Fazi | 5 | 96.5% | Medium |
7 | Greedy Goblins | Betsoft | 30 | 97.2% | High |
Live Casino
This section offers a mix of classic casino games with live dealers and TV-type options with real-time presenters.
Featuring staples like roulette and baccarat, coupled with the quirky nature of live TV games, there is nice balance here with plenty of variety.
Still, seeing these two genres in their distinct categories would have been nice.
However, seeing the presence of providers like Evolution and Pragmatic Play reassured me that the games on display are top notch.
You can also find other less popular, but no less reputable, providers like Betgames.TV and Bombay Live.
So, with that being said, here are some of my top picks:
No. | Game | Provider | Min Bet | Max Bet | RTP |
1 | Lightning Roulette | Evolution | €0.20c | €2,000 | 97.3% |
2 | Bet on Poker | Betgames.TV | €0.10c | €200 | 95% |
3 | Casino Holdem | Evolution | €0.50c | €1,000 | 93.7% / 99.2% |
4 | Ruby Blackjack | Pragmatic Play | €0.50c | €1,000 | 99.3% |
5 | Speed Baccarat | Bombay Live | €0.50c | €1,000 | 83.3% / 98.9% |
6 | Football Blitz Top Card (Super Trunfo) | Pragmatic Play | €0.10 | €5,000 | 87.5% / 96.3% |
7 | Altin Rulet | Amusnet Interactive | €0.10 | €4,000 | 97.3% |
Table Games
Sometimes, you just want a straightforward session without the distractions that come with live dealers, chat features or complex rules.
Arlequin’s library of table games delivers just that: simplicity, focus and the opportunity to get lost in the gameplay at your own pace.
And when it comes to blending timeless classics with creative takes on traditional games, these guys understood the assignment!
This variety is key to keeping players (like me) engaged for longer. It’s easy to get bored of seeing the same old titles over and over again.
Plus, too many flashy features can feel overwhelming. That’s another reason why I always return to table games.
With that said, here are some standout picks featuring both traditional and alternative versions that caught my eye:
No. | Game | Provider | Min Bet | Max Bet | RTP |
1 | European Roulette | Betsoft | €3 | €500 | 97.3% |
2 | 3D Baccarat | Iron Dog | €1 | €10 | 85.6%/ 98.9% |
3 | Multihand Blackjack | Pragmatic Play | €1 | €50 | 99.5% |
4 | Teen Patti | One Touch | €0.25c | €500 | 97.5% |
5 | Roll the Dice | Qora | €0.50c | €1,000 | 83.3% / 98.9% |
6 | Caribbean Poker | Betsoft | €0.10c | €5,000 | 87.5% / 96.3% |
7 | Three Card Poker Deluxe | Habanero | €1 | €100 | 95.6% / 98% |
Video Poker
With just 13 options available, Arlequin’s selection of video poker games is modest to say the least.
I get that video poker games do not have the most extensive catalog, but it still feels like more could have been done here. Otherwise, why even include a whole section devoted to just video poker in the first place?
Variety in providers is also lacking here with over 50% of the games coming from Wazdan.
That said, there are some decent entries, with Deuces Wild and American Gold Poker being my personal favorites.
With straightforward mechanics, these are ideal for newcomers and also serve as a great introduction to poker hands.
There is at least one inclusion here that seemed a bit out of place: Triple Joker. It functions like a standard slot machine and was likely included because of its ‘Joker’ reference.
Not a bad thing per se, but just something to keep in mind.
Now, here are my top picks:
No. | Game | Provider | Min Bet | Max Bet |
1 | Deuces Wild | Betsoft | €0.01c | €10 |
2 | American Gold Poker | Wazdan | €0.30c | €10 |
3 | Jacks or Better | Play’n GO | €0.25c | €5 |
4 | Magic Poker | Wazdan | €0.01c | €10 |
5 | Joker Poker | Play’n GO | €0.01c | €5 |
6 | Three Cards | Wazdan | €0.01c | €10 |
Crash and Other Games
Unfortunately, they do not have a section for crash games.
And, unless you know the name of the specific game or provider, the only way you’ll find them is by stumbling across them in the sea of choices.
The section – called ‘Other’ – is reserved for games that don’t neatly fit into any of the above categories. It’s a mismatch of crash, arcade and lottery-type elements.
This isn’t a bad thing, but not having a small section reserved just for crash games was a bit of a letdown.
Luckily, I know just the crash games available and have neatly listed my top choices below:
No. | Game | Provider | Min Bet | Max Bet |
1 | Deuces Wild | Betsoft | €0.01c | €10 |
2 | American Gold Poker | Wazdan | €0.25c | €10 |
3 | Jacks or Better | Play’n GO | €0.01c | €5 |
4 | Magic Poker | Wazdan | €0.01c | €10 |
5 | Joker Poker | Play’n GO | €0.01c | €5 |
Payment Options
As well as accepting traditional payment methods, Arlequin also supports cryptocurrency platforms such as Binance and CoinsPaid.
This option is great for players seeking added anonymity and lower conversion fees compared to fiat methods.
With that said, let’s take a closer look at their payment methods.
Deposit Options
Following registration, here’s a quick step-by-step guide on how to begin depositing funds at Arlequin:
- Click the ‘Deposit’ button on the top-right-hand corner of your screen (or in the sidebar under your account details)
- In the pop-up window, select a bonus offer or alternatively click the ‘no bonus’ button located at the top
- Either choice will take you to payment options where you can select your desired payment method provider
- Manually enter your deposit amount or choose from the preset options
- Click the ‘Validate’ button and follow the prompts to complete your deposit
With a minimum deposit limit of €10, you don’t need much to get started, which is ideal for beginners. For comparison, many online casinos, like Cloverspin, carry a minimum deposit of €20.
And for all you tech-savvy crypto enthusiasts out there, Binance and Coinspaid support a wide range of major coins, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and many more.
Let’s take a closer look:
Payment Method | Min Deposit | Max Deposit |
Mastercard | €10 | €1,000 |
Credit Card (WebPayz, Visa, Mastercard) | €20 | €1,000 |
Binance Pay (Over 350 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ripple, Ethereum) | €20 | €2,000 |
CoinsPaid (Over 50 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ripple, Ethereum) | €50 | €2,500 |
Withdrawal Options
Overall, I found the withdrawal process relatively quick, simple and hassle-free:
- Click the ‘Withdraw’ button located on the sidebar under your account details
- Select a payment method in the pop-up window and click ‘Withdraw’
- Manually enter your withdrawal amount or choose from the preset options
- Click the ‘Withdraw’ button again to confirm
- Follow the prompts to complete your withdrawal and fill in any additional information
The minimum withdrawal amount is €50 for fiat and crypto.
This is a bit on the high side, but Arlequin makes up for it with a maximum withdrawal limit of €2,500 per week or €10,000 per month. That’s an insane amount!
The only caveat I could find is that withdrawals must be processed using the same payment method you used for your last deposit.
Here’s a quick breakdown below of the withdrawal limits along with the payment options:
Payment Method | Min Withdrawal per day | Max Withdrawal per day | Max Withdrawal per week | Max Withdrawal per month |
Mastercard | €50 | €2,500 | €2,500 | €10,000 |
Credit Card (WebPayz, Visa, Mastercard) | €50 | €2,500 | €2,500 | €10,000 |
Binance Pay | €100 | €2,500 | €2,500 | €10,000 |
CoinsPaid | €50 | €2,500 | €2,500 | €10,000 |
Processing Speeds
Taking an average of 2 working days for both fiat and crypto, I was impressed by Arlequin’s quick withdrawal process.
This is already faster than Bet Riot or Casombie Casino, both of which offer a more open timeline of 3 – 5 working days for a bank transfer.
Of course, these are just averages and all withdrawal times are subject to several factors, such as payment channels, public holidays and so on.
Bearing this in mind, I was struck by how their VIP Program offers a 24-hour turnaround on all withdrawals. This is exceptionally fast and definitely a big drawing point in my book.
As expected, deposit processing time is almost instantaneous, with a short delay at times, but this is rare.
All in all, when it comes to processing speed, I believe Arlequin have set a very high standard for online casinos.
Pro Tip: Submit your KYC documents before withdrawing to avoid delays. More on this later!
How is Customer Support?
Friendly, informative and fast – key elements I look for when assessing customer support.
Thankfully, the customer support agents I engaged with at Arlequin ticked all these boxes.
Now, let’s take a closer look at how their customer support network functions.
Support Channels
When it comes to customer support, there are two main channels available: live chat and email.
- Live Chat
Unfortunately, unlike 7Signs or Flush Casino, Arlequin does not offer 24/7 live chat.
However, they are available 7 days a week from 9:00 to 22:00 CET. That’s not bad considering some online casinos do not even offer live chat as a feature.
Arlequin provides two dedicated email addresses:
- General Inquiries: support@arlequincasino.com
- KYC Submissions & Queries: verifications@hd.arlequincasino.com
Now, they do not offer support over the phone, but with everything being online nowadays, I didn’t see this as a big deal.
However, they do have an extensive FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section that covers topics like accounts, banking, bonuses, and casino games.
Quality of Customer Support
I have nothing bad to say about the customer support (CS) agents I spoke to.
They were all helpful, professional and patient. Even if they didn’t immediately know the answer, they made a genuine effort to find a solution for me.
I must also praise their impressive response time on live chat. Even on more complex queries, I barely had to wait a minute for a decent reply.
For emails specifically, it did take them a few hours to reply to mine, but this is quite reasonable for non-urgent inquiries.
Of course, I am simply talking from my own personal experience, but overall, the quality was very good.
Languages Available
Arlequin proved to be very limited in language options, with their customer support available in only English or French.
However, I must say that I was pleased by the proficiency in English of their CS agents.
Compared to previous experiences I’ve had with other casinos such as Millionz, their responses were far easier for me to understand.
Whether it was due to some AI translation or better-trained agents is unclear. But what matters is that I was never left scratching my head, trying to decipher what they wrote.
That said, it’s hard to overlook Arlequin’s lack of additional languages, especially when compared to other casinos that – at the very least – offer the standard four: English, French, German and Spanish.
Casino | English | French | German | Spanish | Italian | Norwegian | Hun-garian |
Arlequin Casino | ✅ | ✅ | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ |
Millionz Casino | ✅ | ✅ | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ |
Evobet Casino | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ❌ |
7 Signs Casino | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
Compatibility and Accessibility
With a clean design and user-friendly interface, Arlequin strikes a great balance between simplicity and functionality.
I didn’t feel overwhelmed by any flashy banners or any annoying pop-ups.
But first, let’s examine its compatibility with mobile and tablet devices to see how it achieves all this.
Is the Casino Mobile friendly?
Like many online casinos, Arlequin has ditched the mobile app idea in favor of a highly optimized mobile site. As someone who’s never been a fan of online casino apps, I wholeheartedly approve of this.
Arlequin’s mobile version offers seamless navigation, fast downloading times and full functionality.
With its adapted layout, I can practically do all the things I can on my PC. Apps, on the other hand, take up far too much space on your phone, tend to glitch out and must be updated regularly.
The only caveat I noticed with the mobile version is that I had no access to the RTP dashboard. In fact, I couldn’t see any of the boards showing recent winners, current jackpots, or the top 5 spins over the last 24 hours.
It’s not a necessity so I do understand this omission. It’s just something to bear in mind.
Overall, I really can’t complain.
Accessibility Features
From what I could see, Arlequin doesn’t offer dedicated assistive technologies like screen readers or zoom controls.
However, their minimalist approach to their site undoubtedly aids with accessibility, particularly for new players.
Some casinos tend to pile everything onto their homepage, overloading you with deals, promos, flashy designs, and colors. It gets very disorienting!
The guys at Arlequin have taken a ‘less is more approach’. I particularly appreciated their navigation bar at the bottom of the screen for mobile and tablet devices.
It features large icons for key tabs, such as ‘My Account’, ‘Promotions’, ‘Casino’, and ‘Search’.
It’s a simple yet clever feature that makes everything easier to read. It’s also great for those with large hands who struggle with small screens.
Sometimes, it’s the simplest features that make all the difference.
Geographical Restrictions
Residents of the United States of America and its dependencies are not allowed to register an account with Arlequin Casino.
The same goes for people living in Curacao, which is ironic given the casino’s license was issued there.
But these restrictions are clearly stated in their terms and conditions.
However, regarding other countries, Arlequin are vague, stating that ‘certain jurisdictions’ are also banned.
To see if your country is available, you can check if it is listed as an option in the registration form.
Luckily, I’ve saved you the hassle and gone through it myself. Below, you can find a list of several restricted and unrestricted countries that caught (or didn’t catch) my eye.
This is by no means an exhaustive list:
Restricted Countries | Unrestricted Countries |
United Kingdom | Canada |
Spain | South Africa |
Germany | Japan |
The Netherlands | India |
Austria | New Zealand |
Vietnam | Ireland |
Malta | Belgium |
Australia | Portugal |
Vietnam | Norway |
Nigeria | Sweden |
Senegal | Denmark |
Registration Process
Registering an account with Arlequin proved to be straightforward and quick.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to get signed up once you enter the site:
- Click the ‘Register’ button highlighted in orange on the top right-hand corner of your screen

Submitting your KYC Documents
As soon as you’re done with creating your account, I strongly advise you to submit your KYC documents next.
This is simply because you will not be able to withdraw any funds until this has been sent in and approved. It’s a standard procedure followed by most, if not all, online casinos.
However, it’s not as intuitive to do so on Arlequin as it is on other sites, so, to help you out, I’ve compiled this little guide below:
- Message live chat with your intention to submit KYC documents
- You’ll receive an email with a detailed list of instructions as well as separate links to upload documents
- The documents you’ll need to present include:
- ID Verification: Passport and or driving license
- Proof of Address: Utility bill
- Bank Statement: Within last three months
- Each link is valid for only 15 minutes once opened so make sure to prepare everything beforehand
Once you have gone through all the links and submitted your documents, verification takes around 48hrs.
Responsible Gaming
What really stood out to me is that Arlequin had a genuine understanding of their moral duty to protect players’ wellbeing.
Their ‘Responsible Gambling’ page outlines concrete tools to keep players safe from the entrapment of ludomania – also known as gambling addiction.
This includes:
- Deposit Limit: A monthly cap on how much you can deposit to help manage your spending
- Time Out: Also known as ‘self-exclusion’, where you can temporarily ban yourself from playing (not reversible once implemented)
It is the player’s responsibility to activate these measures via emailing Arlequin at support@arlequincasino.comenact.
However, Arlequin understands we’re all human and that this is easier said than done.
That’s why they pose a series of self-assessment questions to help players recognize the warning signs. They also encourage people to speak out without the fear of being judged.
It’s these thoughtful touches that reassure me this isn’t for show. They want players to feel safe and enjoy gaming without sacrificing their health.
Final Thoughts
The guys at Arlequin have done a lot of things right.
Their bustling gaming library, coupled with a myriad of weekly reload and spin bonuses, makes for a dynamic and entertaining experience.
Although, the lack of information regarding their VIP program was a big letdown for me. Even after asking the CS agents what it entails, ultimately, it felt lacking.
On the other hand, their tier-based loyalty scheme had a lot more depth to it. That said, you need to climb up the ranks quite a bit before you can claim rewards of any real substance.
As someone who enjoys a good stat, their RTP dashboard gives excellent insight into what slots one should play to get the best bang for their buck!
But, undoubtedly, the ‘pièce de résistance’ for me was that their bonuses have no wagering requirements attached to them.
When you add that to a packed gaming selection, great weekly bonuses and engaging tournaments, you know you’re on to a winner with Arlequin!
Positives | Negatives |
– No excessive wagering requirements – Very cool loyalty scheme – Good amount of bonuses – Regular tournaments – Good choice of jackpots – High withdrawal limit – Low entry requirement for deposits – RTP analytics dashboard | – VIP program lacking – Limited language options – Limited number of video poker games |
